It's unclear from the Asrock website since they only mention the latest BIOS update might be the answer.

The B450 Pro4 handles up to 3700X; beyond that you need stronger airflow for the VRM heatsinks. For boards supporting all current-gen AM4 chips (up to 3950X) and full Zen 3 compatibility, consider a B550-A Pro or at least a B550M Aorus Pro.

This motherboard isn't as future ready anymore because the B550 was released. The B450 can work with Zen 3 and Ryzen 4000 after a BIOS update, but it's unclear if it will support newer CPUs later. I recommend getting a B550 for better long-term compatibility.
