Can you do that?
I know it's crazy. Well, I am using a Dell Latitude 7280 with an I5 7400 processor. Windows 11 Pro runs fine. The laptop has TPM 2.0, but it doesn't support the processor yet.
I found a link to check on some specs or details from this site: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/FtBoi...IUHwkdbBIt.
A much simpler version of that would be better suited. But your computer is far from the bottom end of the Windows 11 list for compatibility. That AMD A10-7850K chip has been around for almost a decade now. Regarding your original question - No. You cannot simply upgrade to Win 11 using the same easy method you might find on a laptop with this setup. It is possible to do some tricky things to make it work, but why would you want that?
I need a big screen because my budget is low and my vision is getting worse. Sure, I might connect the monitor to my laptop, but that's what people say first. When it comes to installing Windows 11 on my desktop, before anything else, I just had Windows 10 from the start with Microsoft's free upgrades back then. That worked perfectly fine for me. However, I've tried dozens of times to put in Windows 11 using the Media Creation Tool, and every single time it was just Contana saying "you are on Windows 10," but there was no visual change at all. Some people say if you hear that voice then it's installed. But how can you tell by looking instead of just listening?
Your desktop isn't very low down in the list of things that work with Windows 11. Yes, you could try forcing it to run Win 11 just like a hack, but why bother? It's actually running Windows 7 right now. If trying to get Win 10 on this machine is tough, getting Win 11 will be way harder.
