I have a Core 2 Duo e4600, and it's causing a bottleneck with my GT 730. Some users have used tape to overclock their processors on similar CPUs. Can this be done on my model? I don’t want to open up the PC, and I’m curious if it’s feasible.

What I've seen on YouTube
This video shows a setup using a tape mode. For a real BSEL mode, you might need a conductive pen and additional equipment. I've tested it on my P4 and E5800, but it didn't work, possibly because I used a non-prebuilt motherboard.
