I recommend purchasing an RTX 2080. The RTX 2070 doesn't maintain even 100fps consistently in Battlefield 5 at 1440p.

It’s going to test your memory to its limits. I haven’t upgraded my PC yet, but I recently got a 1440p 140hz monitor. I’m currently using 8GB RAM, a GTX980, and an i5-3570k. To achieve over 120 fps, I need to keep the game on medium with the resolution at 95%. Nvidia’s suggestions will help, but you’ll likely have to experiment with scaling.
