My specifications are as follows: CPU is AMD FX 8350 at 4ghz, GPU is GTX 1060 FE, RAM is 2x4gb Gskill Tipjaw 1666mhz, MOBO is MSI 970a g43, and I have liquid cooling on the CPU. I'm curious if it's possible to overclock the CPU to 4.4ghz with this configuration and whether it's safe. Additionally, I'd like guidance on how to proceed with the overclocking process, as I'm not very familiar with the topic.

The board's power and thermal design are quite inadequate, making it unsafe. No heatsinks are present on the VRM. For upgrading your CPU and MOBO, what suggestions would you have?

It's best to hold off on Ryzen or opt for Intel builds, as FX is no longer supported.
