Can you confirm if it's feasible for you to handle it alone?
Hello, I managed to reach the Acer Recovery Partition (PQService). Now I don’t see an install.wim file, but I notice 54 files in the \d2d\images folder that seem to hold the OS. That’s a good sign. However, I’m unsure how to build an install.wim from these files or set up the Windows installation to recognize it. I also don’t understand file signatures or detection methods. Could someone help me with this? Thanks!
It could be simpler to perform a fresh Windows setup using the installer. This avoids the issues caused by Dell, Acer, HP, etc., loading unnecessary files before purchase. The guide is available here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...tion-media
I'm trying to adapt an OEM install.wim file for use in a Windows setup environment. There isn't one available initially. I prefer not to download the Windows ISO since it would take an impractical amount of time. My other idea is to alter the file so it resembles a fresh, non-junk Windows OEM Acer installation (just experimenting for fun), but I need assistance. I found some guides on converting .swn files to .wim files that seem reliable.
Sorry for the slow download, it's not something I can fix. A clean setup would definitely help.
