Hey! Let's figure this out step by step. You want to record PC games with Dxtory and a microphone, but add a webcam in the top corner for reactions—kind of like how Jacksepticeye does it. Since you're already using YouTube tutorials that didn’t work, here’s what you can try:

1. **Check Dxtory settings** – Make sure your webcam is enabled and positioned correctly on your screen.
2. **Use a third-party app** – Tools like OBS Studio or Streamlabs allow you to add a webcam overlay that sits at the top of your screen.
3. **Align with a marker** – Place a small marker or sticker in the corner where you want the webcam to appear, then adjust Dxtory’s alignment settings.
4. **Sync audio and video** – Ensure your microphone is connected and set to match the video feed.
5. **Test in a game** – Play a short clip and see if the webcam appears smoothly; tweak its position as needed.

If you need more detailed instructions on any of these steps, just let me know!

XSplit likely offers this capability. Camtasia Studio also provides screen recording along with audio and webcam features. When you select the screen recording option in Camtasia 8, a pop-up appears. The icon is located at the top left corner of the interface.

It's possible the filmmaker offers a way to handle that situation.

OBS also includes this function, I believe.

OBS is the top choice since it’s free (in contrast to XSplit). You can continue using Dxtory to capture gameplay and assign it as a source in OBS. Then integrate your webcam as an additional source, which will compile into a single .mp4 file. If you need more flexibility and want to edit with two separate files, OBS remains useful but consider lighter alternatives for webcam recording.

With a recent Nvidia graphics card, shadowplay functions effectively and includes a feature for adding a webcam display in the corner or screen area.

Looking for top PC recording tools? Bandicam works well but files can get large. You might want alternatives that balance quality and smaller outputs.
