It's been a long time, but hitting F8 quickly after posting should open the Windows boot options. You’d like to jump into safe mode, though I remember needing to do this back in XP. I checked some sources, but it might not work on today’s hardware. Some advice suggests the system could start a repair if it doesn’t boot after several tries. Another option is making a recovery USB so you can boot from there, open a command prompt, and restart into safe mode.
