Hi! I recently assembled a new PC five days ago. When using Hardware Acceleration in browsers or apps, square pixels seem to stay only on the right side of the screen even after closing them completely. They remain fixed when not scrolling but move when scrolling. They don’t show up on white or bright backgrounds, nor on black backgrounds or text (except file explorer). Changing resolution or refresh rate to reload the display driver fixes the issue until I open a new tab in Microsoft Edge. Turning off Hardware Acceleration resolves it, though it sometimes happens during gameplay when using Alt-Tab to another window (only Ark Survival Evolved installed at the moment). A link to Microsoft Edge is provided. Using another monitor yields the same effect. Is my GPU affected? I’ve reinstalled AMD drivers via ddu with versions 24.4.1, 24.5.1, 24.6.1, and 24.6.1, but the problem persists. Reinstalling display drivers or using all GPU ports helps. Reseating the GPU in the PCIe slot also works. The MB is updated to the latest driver excluding beta. CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 | GPU: RX 6800 | PSU: msi a650bn | RAM: 2x16GB 3200MHz | MB: msi b550-a pro. Thanks.

This seems to be related to VRAM problems. Consider lowering the memory clock speeds on the GPU to check for improvement, but if that fails with a new card, return it.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, I can't return the card. The Vram clock in AMD Adrenalin software can't drop below 2000mhz for my card, which is also its standard speed. Using Edge keeps the Vram around 190mhz, so that shouldn't be an issue.

You might consider pushing PCIe 3.0 to check for improvement.
Trying to update the vBIOS could also be an option. However, it carries the chance of damaging the card.
All other suggestions you've mentioned have already been attempted.

Have you performed a fresh installation of Windows? Or have you repurposed an OS drive from another computer without reinstalling Windows?
