Hello Friends
👍
To be honest, this forum really stands out compared to the Dell forums! Thank you all for your support in the past.
My issue is about a 'foreboding' message I encountered on the Windows 10 Pro Update settings page. It never appeared before, but now it shows something like:
'Your System Requirements Fail To Meet The Installation Of Windows 11'.
I’m not sure why it showed up, but it’s definitely there. Maybe you can help me permanently remove it? So far, people have been really persistent in installing Windows 11. I just want to know—won’t I see that message again?
With Much Respect And Many Thanks!

In a compatible system, they aim to guide you without forcing anything on you.

Hi There USAF!
Nice to see you again!
Any chance I could avoid seeing that prompt once more?
Thanks!

Yes, by upgrading to win 11....
😛
The prompt will remain consistently present, and you won't need to worry about it because your hardware doesn't meet the necessary criteria for the upgrade.
In a few years, Microsoft will discontinue support for Windows 10, so if your PC is used in a professional setting with Windows Pro, you'll need to decide whether you can continue operating without an internet connection.

Keep it simple
Avoid the Windows 10 Pro Update settings page.
You'll never need to see it. LOL

The notification is completely safe.
This is especially true since your setup doesn’t satisfy the criteria for Windows 11.
I own a few devices running Windows 10, and I haven’t encountered this alert before.

My OCD is activated by the notification on my Win 10 device, which isn't compatible with Windows 11. I rely on the old saying, "if it ain't broken, then don't fix it!"

Another point to keep in mind is that even though Microsoft ends Windows 10 support in 2025, it doesn't imply the operating system becomes useless. It simply means no further updates will be available. If you wish to keep using your PC with Windows 10, you're free to do so.

You can include further details in your comment. It’s important to note that Microsoft will not cease updating Windows 10. Security patches for both Home and Pro versions will still be issued beyond the current date. However, after that point, only feature updates will be released, and other improvements will stop.
