I don't understand its age, but it lacks the toolbar. It has Windows 7 installed, which is newer than the ones I used before with Windows 98 or XP. The reason I'm asking is that I've started a new job and they provided me with a laptop and a monitor. It becomes very cluttered when I open many apps in Citrix to work cleanly. Being able to connect a third monitor to the laptop and extend Citrix onto it would be very useful. Then I could close the laptop lid and use two full-size monitors.

Is this still feasible with older Citrix versions? Would I just place it in the middle of both screens before pressing the fullscreen button at the top right corner, so it expands across both monitors, or would there be another way?

Thanks for your help.

I haven't experienced positive outcomes with three screens in Citrix; some programs have flashed or become unstable when using three screens. But you should be able to use the laptop with the lid closed and just two screens. A docking station designed for the laptop would work. I recommend asking the IT team at the business for advice.
