My PC is quite old and lacks built-in Bluetooth, so I rely on a dongle. The Avantree DG80 I received transmits only audio, nothing else. It was a long time ago when Bluetooth was essential, and every review praised it as great. Now I need a dongle for the Wii Wiimote to play my favorite games on an emulator. Can I connect two devices to my Windows 10 PC and it work?

you would need both to ensure compatibility and proper functionality, as the dongle might not support other non-Nintendo Bluetooth devices.

Sorry for the delayed response. I mentioned that my dongle now only handles audio. It's a high-end audio device, so I prefer to keep it. My PC is three rooms away and I still experience crystal clear sound.

the distance is caused by the device being linked, not the host.
the audio "quality" isn't affected by the host, only by the device's hardware.
choose a better host that supports all Bluetooth devices.

I understand that Logitech offers a Unifying Receiver enabling multiple connections through a single dongle. Before that, my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard each had their own. Based on what I know, the answer is yes. The main challenge will likely be with audio and video since those devices don’t transmit much data. Do you have the chance to test it?
