You're planning to upgrade soon and want to see if the new laptop can handle Genshin Impact smoothly at a low setting with around 30 frames per second. It should work well if it matches your current iPad experience.

It should probably work without issues, though I wouldn't suggest buying it.

It's a Lenovo IdeaPad from the S-series, measuring 15.6 inches with Full HD resolution. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. The operating system is Windows 10, and it comes in a gray finish.

You shouldn't use a 8GB laptop for gaming. At least 16GB of RAM is recommended for smooth performance.

It's a great deal for me—about $400 off, either 60% or the total price—so I'm getting it.

I’m accustomed to reduced performance and lower frame rates on my iPad (with 2GB of RAM, for example), so I don’t demand much.

It's possible to enjoy Genshin on a decent mobile device, which means you probably won't run into major visual problems. Usually, the main trade-off will be giving up some visual polish in exchange for smoother performance.

It makes sense as long as you grasp why it's priced lower. I'd double-check that the CPU is actually RYZEN2 rather than Ryzen+. AMD sometimes drops low-power models and renames older chips with newer names. The specs say 3700 cores, but others might vary. I'd also examine how easily the RAM can be upgraded.

It looks like this laptop offers great performance for its price, especially when compared to similar Intel GPUs. With 8 GB of RAM and dual-channel support, it handles many games well. Many people overlook the Vega variant, but this model is solid for budget builds.
