Can these two PSUs supply enough power for an RTX 4090?
FSP Hydro G PRO 1000W and DeepCool PQ1000M both feature 3x 8-pin PCIe ports or cables. The RTX 4090 requires a 12VHPWR power connector with 4x 8-pin connectors. Which one would you choose?
Neither of the two options is suitable. Instead, I would purchase one of the 1.6kW kings.

It seems the Seasonic unit is the better choice because it includes a dedicated power cable for the GPU, eliminating the need for a 12VHPWR adapter.
In the same way, isn't the RTX 4090 too much? What about the RTX 4080? You asked, I replied. With the top GPU available, shouldn’t we pair it with the best power supply to ensure smooth performance? A 1.6kW unit offers plenty of capacity to handle the RTX 4090 along with its overclocking potential, voltage boosts, and any other demanding components you might connect. Your decision is up to you.
