Can the system handle gameplay smoothly?
Building a budget-friendly setup with a Pentium G4400 at 3.3GHz and a Radeon RX460 Strix OC graphics card is on my list. I’m aiming to run titles such as ME:Andromeda, BF1 (likely), Dota 2, and some MMORPGs like Terra. I’ve noticed many videos of people playing Battlefield 1, and it seems BF1 uses the same graphics engine as ME:Andromeda—did you know that? I’m a bit concerned the CPU might slow things down. *I’m okay with playing at low settings.* I picked this CPU because I’ve seen plenty of reviews praising its performance for the price. If you can go for an i3 instead of the Pentium, you'll remove the chance that two cores will stop you from playing a game. Otherwise, everything should be fine.
These titles are quite basic. Some games could fail if your system only has a dual-core processor and needs a quad-core. Consider checking i3 options instead.
The G4400 should perform adequately without causing a bottleneck, especially with the gigabyte variant. It runs smoothly at high to ultra settings on older titles, provided you have at least 8 GB of RAM.
