I’m wondering if your Desktop or Laptop would be able to handle Starfield. Would it perform well?

It seems you're mostly hitting the basic requirements. Likely around 1080p low-medium settings at 60fps. Which processor is in the Asus model? The I9 9980? A laptop with a TGP of 2070 would feel more like a desktop RTX 2060. Probably better performance on the laptop.
