AMD offers those capabilities, but some games it fails to handle well, and its appearance isn’t always impressive. It’s just a coincidence sometimes (cool build guy, that toilet paper really highlights the colors lol), but I’m swapping my ASUS board for a Krait MMO card.

These tools aim to automatically adjust your game settings using user preferences. They let you tweak graphics options with a single click, though outcomes can be inconsistent. DVR and Shadowplay are built-in features within these programs, meaning you must install them to access their capabilities.

If the system can't recognize a game like Minecraft, you can simply switch to "record desktop." The fullscreen appearance will look just like native settings, without any pauses or lag issues from my experience.

I don’t care at all if they alter my game stats or log them; that’s exactly what I’m asking about :]

Interesting points here. DWM includes these features too. Seems AMD GVR has limitations in this area.

Ah okay, mine has never crashed, only a few times when I mess with my overclocking and I go way to high and the driver crashes but it's pretty obvious that it wouldn't work when the driver is crashing! And it ALWAYS looks fantastic, can't speak for everyone but I've had 0 problems with it, sometimes when I watch old CSGO videos in the night I grab my mouse to spin my character around before I realize it's a recording and not the actual game, that's how good the quality is HAHA thank you! Gonna take a new picture tomorrow with the new components installed, I just got the Mobo/PSU today so the cable management isn't done yet so I decided to wait before I take a new picture

Many folks prefer keeping things simple, and Raptr & GeForce are clear examples of this. It's disappointing that DVR/Shadowplay aren't available on their own.

They're referring to managing desktop windows, such as capturing a Chrome or program window. It seems the feature doesn't record individual windows but captures the entire screen. You mentioned cropping in post-processing for better results.
