Can overclocking a CPU help ease GPU limitations?

Hello everyone,
I have an i7 8700K and a GTX 1060 Asus Strix.
I wanted to ask whether overclocking the CPU would help reduce the GPU bottleneck.
I plan to increase the i7 8700K's speed to 4.8 GHZ.

Maintaining CPU temperatures in the suggested range prevents further issues. However, if it overheats, it may cause throttling and reduce overall performance.

It should reduce it if it is any. Though, i dont think there is a gpu bottleneck with the i7 8600k.

Increasing the CPU speed will only ease the CPU bottleneck, not the GPU. In fact, your GPU might still be the main constraint.

When the game's performance is constrained by the CPU, then yes, within some limits (varies by game). If it's solely dependent on the GPU, then no.

When CPU temperatures stay in the advised range, it won't worsen the situation. However, if it overheats, it may cause throttling, leading to reduced overall performance.
