I'm checking if any overclocking is feasible for your 32" AOC Q3279vwfd8 1440p 75hz monitor. I'm also looking into what happens if the overclock fails and whether others have experience with similar setups.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Ocing monitors aren't something you can definitively say will work just because of their design. Even identical models can behave differently. If you're using an Nvidia model like the one mentioned in your previous discussion, you can set a custom resolution with a higher refresh rate in the ncp settings. If it doesn't support it, wait 10 seconds for it to adjust or press esc, then try another refresh rate until you find the best one. You won't damage it since there are few settings to change and the process is straightforward. Adjust the refresh rate and check the image quality, then perform a frame skip test.

Have you considered boosting the monitor's frequency? You're unsure how much you've managed to push it, and you're weighing this against a 144Hz full HD option.

Have you considered boosting the monitor's frequency? How much have you managed to push it? I'm torn between this model and a 144hz full HD one. Eventually, I reached stability at 80hz.

Have you considered boosting the monitor's frequency? How much have you managed to push it beyond its limits? I'm torn between this model and a 144hz full HD one. Eventually, I reached stability at 80hz. Thanks!
