Hello, I'm checking if my PC can run GTA V smoothly at 40-60 FPS with medium settings on a 1080p CPU. It has an AMD FX 6300 at 3.5 GHz, six cores, RAM of 8 GB, and the GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 6670 with 2GB VRAM. If upgrading is needed, here are some suggestions. Thanks!

It might be best at low or minimum settings, but that's all. They suggest the 7970/280x.

It seems you're considering staying at medium settings and possibly upgrading later, plus you're curious if anyone is planning to form a team.

It might be better to look at a GPU upgrade option. For a recommendation, I need to know your budget first.

They mentioned the 7870, not the 7970. That applies only at ultra settings with 1080p resolution.

He should handle the medium without any issues. You might need to disable shadows or keep them dim, and your texture filtering won’t be very effective. Still, the game should run smoothly on your PC and look better than on the PS3.

Thanks for the assistance, your budget is near 200 dollars lower than expected—it's quite a bit cheaper now.

At that cost level, an R9 285 would be a good choice, while the 960 isn't really worth it.

Hey, I'm not sure about your setup. Could you share your GPU model and specs so I can check if you're eligible for SLI or Crossfire?
