Hi everyone,
I’m thinking about upgrading my PC and have decided to stick to a three (3) generation rule for GPUs—meaning from 2070 to 5070, okay? Based on my research so far, what do you think? I’d love your honest opinions and any suggestions for a 5070 Ti setup. The budget should be around 1,500 USD for the GPU, motherboard, CPU, and AIO, if it’s still feasible. Does this also work with my old Lian Li Dynamic Black case?
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X:
https://geni.us/EpSty
GPU: RTX 5070 Ti:

CPU Cooler: Thermalright Frozen Prism:

Thanks a lot.
P.S. Sorry if the grammar isn’t perfect—English isn’t my first language.

What are your intentions? Are you focused on production tasks or gaming, and if so, what resolution are you planning to use?

I believe you'll appreciate this. I'm using a Ryzen 7700 non-x paired with a 7900xtx, which is marginally quicker than the 5070ti, and they appear to work well together, so your configuration should be well-balanced. What power supply are you planning to employ?

It should be okay if you can obtain a 5070 (ti) at roughly the MSRP. You may also consider upgrading to a different power supply unit if yours is from when you purchased the 2070, as your current setup likely won’t need much power unless you had a very efficient one previously. Unless you received a top-tier PSU before, it might be worth replacing it now.

I'll be mostly playing in 1440p. Could you check if it fits in your old Lian Li dynamic case?

Thank you for the update. My existing PSU, purchased in 2018, is a Seasonic Focus 750w. However, considering its age, I might need to replace it soon.

My current build is:
GPU: RTX 2070
CPU: I5-9600k
MOBO: MSI TOMAHAWK z390 motherboard
RAM: 16gig 3600mhz TeamForce
PSU: Seasonic 750w
CPU Cooling: NZXT Kraken AOI
Case: Lian Li Dynamic Black
Thanks for noticing. Because of that I realized that I also need to buy a new RAM and PSU lol.

Should be fine then, I’d look at the used market to see if there’s any 4080 family cards around for the same price as a new 5070Ti though
