I haven't found much information about this on laptops, but is it safe to increase the laptop GPU speed? I only adjusted the core clock and memory, didn't change the voltage, and the temperature stayed under 75°C consistently. I restored everything to default because the improvements weren't significant. It seems to be functioning properly, but I'm concerned about potential damage or reduced lifespan from overclocking a laptop.

You didn't damage anything, but trying to overclock a laptop seems pointless since its parts are already warm due to the tight space. The improvements would be very small. If you kept pushing it and the components stayed within safe temperatures (and voltage), then your device's life wouldn't be affected.

The changes are almost invisible when upgrading a laptop. It doesn't seem worth it to me.

It's not a good idea to adjust settings on any laptop because everything is packed tightly in a small area. Keep everything at the standard or default values.

Phillip Corcoran suggests avoiding doing anything on laptops due to tight packing in limited spaces. He advises sticking to default or standard settings. The main concern is likely overheating.
