Observe that the device features distinct headphone and microphone ports. The enclosure includes a unified TRRS audio connection. Therefore, a converter might be necessary if your existing headset uses separate ports.

I so don't understand why you want to do that. Really, there's nothing to justify it (unless you got the PC for free and don't like the case).
Just get a case and order the parts separately. You will get way better value for less work.
