If it works, it's likely not optimized for your dual-core AMD processor and old graphics card.

The GT 430 can handle it at sub 30 fps on 720p medium. It's barely playable, but not a great experience (I'm not a strict FPS fan, but a steady 40-60fps is essential for a first person shooter).

EDIT: I mistakenly mixed up the minimum requirements with yours... Remembering how minimum specs perform; keep in mind anything below that will be even worse.

You might want to provide more details about your PC specifications. There are many options available, such as "dual core AMD processors" and "512 vram" graphics cards.

The graphics appear remarkable just by watching the initial two minutes of gameplay. It's hard to imagine how much progress the PC gaming industry has made over the last ten years compared to my first FPS experience with Wolfenstein 3D. I'm eager to conduct some tests tomorrow, provided the game runs smoothly without sudden crashes. Perhaps turning off anti-aliasing could help achieve around 60 frames per second.

On Steam there is also a return window you might utilize (it seems you could get the game back if you purchased it within two days and played it for less than two hours).

I believe I cannot return it since I purchased the tangible version from my nearby Gamestop (eb games).

How the experience feels while playing on Titan XP is different, and whether a faster refresh rate is essential depends on your setup. I'm just starting out with modern PC gaming.

144 fps is truly stunning, I’ll never look back. Of course, I started with simple roots, and a basic computer is something worth valuing.
