You don't have a 32 bit operating system do you? If you do you need to get a 64 bit OS in there. That is so Windows 98. 3.4GB is all a 32 bit OS cab adress.

Then just run the 8GB. The video card can reserve memory at startup from the top adresses down. The extra can't hurt anything. The 8GB get's you into dual channel mode which helps performance also.

This sounds like a classic RAM issue – likely faulty RAM modules causing instability and restarts. The fact that you've tried troubleshooting steps (like removing the battery) without success strongly suggests a hardware problem with the RAM itself.

Here’s what to do:

1. **Test the RAM:** Use Memtest86+ or a similar tool to thoroughly test your RAM for errors. This is the most reliable way to diagnose a faulty module.
2. **Identify Faulty Modules:** If Memtest86+ finds errors, it will usually identify which specific RAM stick(s) are causing the issue.
3. **Replace the RAM:** Replace the faulty RAM modules with known good ones. Don’t try to “fix” a bad RAM module – it’s often better to replace it entirely.

Is that why you took the RAM out?

Here’s a rewrite of your text, focusing on clarity and flow:

The issue appears to be with the restart loop when running specific tests. Specifically, testing the 1311 2x2x 1333 2x2x with color is causing the system to crash repeatedly. The most recent attempt involved a 2x2x 1333 on a color and 2x2x 1311 on a color, which seems to be triggering the restart sequence. Further investigation into the specific combination of values or tests that trigger this behavior is needed to resolve the issue.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from bboy.hh : "Can i run pubg on 6 gb of ram?"
bboy.hh :
Hey can i run pubg on 6 gb of ram before i buy it
WildCard999 :
What are your other specs?
A while back I read it was a 6gb minimum. But now they list 8gb. 6 might still work. Assuming your graphics and cpu are good enough. But probably not a game you want to play with just the minimums anyway.
