However, the 6GB currently used from the 16GB storage isn’t a big issue.
For the 32GB version...you’d really need twice the 16GB capacity.
Don’t just add more 16GB to your existing setup—sell or reuse what you have and invest in what fits better.
6 GB of RAM usage isn’t that high these days. Windows and applications consume more RAM than before, particularly internet browsers. To identify which processes are using the most RAM, open Task Manager and arrange the processes by RAM consumption (click at the top of the RAM usage column). If you notice any apps you no longer use, consider uninstalling them.
I’ll purchase two 8 GB Rams, totaling 32 GB. However, my existing RAM is 2400 MHz, and I can’t locate it online. Only 3200 MHz rams are available. Can I use a 3200 MHz model with the same type and brand?
Please note that combining RAM modules is not advised, even if they belong to the same brand or model. Adding two 8GB sticks on top of existing ones can cause issues.
Purchase a fresh 2x16GB unit and consider using or selling your existing 2x8GB models. This approach helps prevent RAM compatibility issues. We haven’t received a CPU-Z screenshot yet; it seems the RAM isn’t at 2400mhz.
I believe I have 3200 MHz RAM, though I'm not entirely confident. My current speed is 2934 MHz in Task Manager and CPU Z under SPD Max bandwidth = DDR4 3200(1600 MHz). Should it be 2400 MHz or 3200 MHz?
Yes, I would purchase this, set XMP in BIOS, and proceed.
