Can I play Borderlands 3?
Hello everyone,
Here are my computer specifications:
Processor - AMD Athlon II X3 435 at 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM - 8.00 GB
System type - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics card - Nvidia GeForce GT 710 (2 GB graphics RAM)
Operating system - Windows 11
Can I run Borderlands 3 by setting everything to the absolute lowest, including config file and priority registering, as well as in-game settings?
I just want to avoid lowering the resolution below 75%, because that would make the game appear very poor. I can adjust other settings as needed, except for resolution. Thanks!
Definitely not, this doesn't meet the minimum requirements for that game.

To put it into perspective, your CPU is roughly half as fast as the game minimums, and your graphics card was designed for casual use like watching YouTube—far from a true gaming card.
Well, I managed to get it running around 50 frames per second on the lowest settings with 75% resolution by just tweaking the config file and making the game run with high priority. It worked mostly smoothly except for the resolution, but everything else was at its bare minimum. If you're curious about how I did it, I can walk you through the optimizations in detail. Thanks for your feedback.
Also, should I set the priority to real-time? Since you don’t run anything else in the background and your only installed apps are Borderlands 2, 3, Epic Games Launcher, Steam, and Google Chrome, I think setting it to real-time would help you get more frames.
