Can I play Borderlands 3?
Hi guys, here are my computer specs. Processor is an AMD Athlon II X3 at 2.90 GHz with 8 GB of RAM installed. The system uses a 64-bit operating system based on x64. For graphics, I have an Nvidia GeForce GT 710 with 2 GB of video memory. My computer runs Windows 11. Can I play Borderlands 3? If I lower every single setting down to the absolute lowest possible level and keep everything else running like config file, priority registering, and in-game settings too? The only thing I can't do is cut my screen resolution below 75% because that makes the game look really bad. But if you want, I can turn anything else down except for lowering the resolution below 75%. Thanks!
No way, your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Borderlands 3. Check out this link for more details: https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cy...ds-3/15611
If you ever make this work, which is doubtful, it probably needs just a tiny bit of detail.
Welp, I managed to get it running at about 50 frames per second on the lowest settings with a 75% resolution just by changing that config file and turning high priority. I'm not sure if it actually ran smoothly, but everything else is already set as low as possible except for the resolution. If you want to know exactly how I did this, I can tell you all about the optimization tricks later. Thanks anyway. Should I switch the priority to real-time to get more frames per second? Since I don't run anything else in the background and my PC only has Borderlands 2 or 3, The Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Old Republic II, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, an Epic Games Launcher, Steam, and Google Chrome installed, I basically do nothing.
