Hi,
I'm checking if it's safe to overclock my PC. My current specs are: an EVGA GeForce 750 ti, an AMD FX 6300 with stock cooling fan, a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3, 8GB RAM, and two additional fans besides the CPU fan. If I can overclock, which components should I target next?

you can't overclock it. only certain z and x motherboard lines are compatible, and your processor needs to have a k at the end of the number.

I wouldn't try to overclock with the standard cooling solution. There are many discussions about this, and there isn't a single correct method. I think it would be better to search for "overclock 6300" to find more detailed guides and advice. Someone else might have more time to give a complete answer.

all the amd fx series comes with an unlocked multiplier that can be overclocked, but the issue lies in your motherboard not supporting overclocking.
