I'm happy to purchase a Ryzen with the B450 series since it allows overclocking, but I wonder why Intel hasn't released a B460 series motherboard for overclocking. It seems they might have different priorities. I noticed that the Intel 10th generation 10400F is excellent overall, yet you still need Z-series motherboards for overclocking.

Even with a Z board for the 10400f, you can only adjust the BCLK, nothing else. I might be mistaken, but Intel seems to dislike overclocking and is trying various methods to restrict it. Edit: ^ and this. Updated July 6, 2020 by TofuHaroto
