I was curious about whether these temperatures are safe for non-overclocking. It was around 1 minute after exiting GTA V, which I think puts a significant strain on the processor. I use an aftermarket cooler—something like an offbrand 212 Evo—but it performs well. Also, why is my fan reporting 300k RPM?

the cpu is black edition btw, if you don't want to look at the picture it's a phenom ii x4 955 3.21 ghz
