Is it acceptable or feasible to boost your PC's speed? It depends on the setup you have. Your custom build includes an Antec case fan, an Asus A68HMK motherboard, and an AMD Dual Core A6-6400k CPU running at 3.9Ghz Black Edition.

It is possible, but your motherboard isn't sufficient for a strong overclock. You'd need an aftermarket CPU cooler and possibly another cooler for the GPU as well. You might still manage to overclock the GPU slightly. For better results, consider upgrading to a quad-core A8 or A10 CPU.

Consensus reached, a CPU upgrade is the sole solution for meaningful performance gains, especially with dual-core systems.
Here are recommended options based on your budget:

Thank you for your inquiry. I'm curious if it's possible to allocate part of the system's memory or VRAM to a specific graphics card.

What is being discussed?
😵 The processor depends on system DRAM to execute programs and apps on the computer.
It is not possible to assign or divide this space.
Graphics cards possess separate memory in VRAM, also known as Video RAM, which is managed by the card directly.
