I was curious about using the Corsair CX650M from 2017 with your new CX-750F.
The CX650M has a type 3 PCIe connector, while the CX-750F uses a type 4 PCIe connector.
They also differ in the missing hole on the connector (left side: CX750F, right side: CX650M).
Why not? Both cables are simply left inside the case. It isn't about being lazy. You probably wouldn't prefer the newer cable that came with the updated PSU.
Hey, thanks for your prompt reply. I was looking for an additional PCIe cable for my Strix 3080 Ti because my CX750F only came with two PCIe cables. I'm currently using a different power supply but considering using the CX750F since my current PSU only has two PCIe connector ports, unlike the Corsair which has three.
