Tradesman1 shares that increasing BCLK isn't effective for the 6100 due to its locked multiplier. He mentions successfully overclocking a G4400 to 4.5ghz, noting not all manufacturers restrict this. References include a YouTube video and forum discussions from April 2016.

Only slight adjustments to BCLK are needed, as the 6100 operates with a fixed multiplier.

Some boards continue to allow non-K Skylake overclocking even when the BIOS is up to date. I'm not sure which ones it is or how many exist.

Delalo: Actually yes, the NOC mode does support this. I used a G4400 up to 4.5ghz. Not every manufacturer restricts overclocking. MSI Z170-A PRO Skylake non-K CPU Overclocking. G4400, i3-6100, i5-6400 Apr 28, 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFpH75U3JUc Apr, 2016 http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=150253&page=9 Older http://overclocking.guide/msi-z170-non-k...ing-guide/ Delalo shared some useful links. I just wanted to remind you that you might want to download the latest (April) MSI bios from the updated page: http://overclocking.guide/updated-msi-z1...-new-bios/ I managed with the same processor reaching 4.7Ghz using an MSI Z170M board. My post is here: Hope this helps confirm your setup.
