It's actually pretty straightforward, I understand non-K processors aren't designed for overclocking, especially since Intel didn't plan for it. But after some investigation, I found out you can. My setup includes an ASUS Z170-Pro, an Intel i5-6400, and 16 gigabytes of RAM.

No, tried before using BLCK tweak preset at 133MHz, turned off EIST, disabled turbo boost, increased CPU video settings, but experienced instability at 4.3GHz. The heat and power levels were fine, it was running on 360 mm radius with Koolance PMP 500 on an AX1200i from MSI Z170XPower Gaming Titanium.

It might require adjusting your BIOS settings, but there are significant restrictions when attempting overclocking, and I wouldn't suggest it unless necessary.
