Can Firewire be connected to this Mini PC?
I own multiple laptops that support firewire and a number of external gadgets also compatible with it. This Mini PC handles tasks efficiently, but it doesn’t support firewire natively because it lacks the feature. Can I add firewire functionality to this device?
Amazon displays numerous USB - firewire external adapters.

The short answer is no.
These Amazon adapters seem to be scams since they look like passive USB to FireWire devices that you can't use. Even with multiple 3-4 star reviews, many products have numerous 1 star reviews from users reporting they don't function.
There are still many FireWire expansion cards available, so you just need a computer with a PCIe slot.
