Hello everyone, hope you are having a great day! I am hoping someone can help me (again). My computer is running Windows 10. Recently, I copied my C drive (which holds the SSD) to another new SSD and put it into a new ASUS laptop called Vivobook S533EA. I also copied my D drive (only for data storage) to an older hard drive named OLDTOSH. Because the Asus only has one USB 3 port, I used a special power hub with extra ports to connect the big D drive and other stuff. I use Mailbird Pro as my email app, putting the main program on C drive and the important stuff like data/store files on D drive. When I try to read an email in the bottom pane of the app (the part that has three panes, left, top, and bottom), it won't scroll up or down with the mouse either, and it won't move up or down when I press arrow keys. So I can't see the email content in the bottom area. But the header part works fine for scrolling up and down (and there are no scrolling problems with other programs or on the internet). I turned off my computer and restarted it without fixing anything, so I thought maybe I needed a special tool called "hard link" to connect D drive to C drive. Here is where another problem comes in. I tried using MKLINK inside Command Prompt (with my name as administrator) by typing this command: mklink /H "C:\Users\MY Name\AppData\Local\Mailbird" "OLDTOSH D:\Mailbird". The file name, folder name, or label syntax is all wrong. I can't figure out what the problem is here. Can anyone help me fix this? I really need this and also want to reinstall Mailbird too. Thank you so much in advance, Mark

Yeah, that's not possible and you probably won't succeed because you copied a drive from one computer to a new laptop. You'll likely need to wipe the hard drive completely using Windows installation media and then install fresh. I don't know why people believe they can transfer Windows files from one machine to another and have it run normally. It never actually works that way.

No, don't move it to the other computer. Put the Vivobook back in where it was before and make sure the software works as it did originally. Then install whatever apps you need. That's all.

Thanks to all of you for getting back at me. It seems I'm going to have to follow what you said, Mark.
