Can anyone help me set up my Microsoft Phone app on my computer?
I am trying to call using the Microsoft phone app from my computer, but the program says there is no Bluetooth connection. Even after plugging in a universal dongle and making sure the PC detects it, the app still fails to connect and shows no BT on the computer. I already have many BT dongles for keyboards and mice. Is there another BT thing I need to buy? It feels like I bought this PC with BT built-in but maybe just had an old plug-in card that got mixed up. Any advice would be a huge help, Randy.
Hey there! Update your post with all the hardware specs and OS details. How many other Bluetooth devices are connected to yours? Are those USB ports working right? Which Microsoft app do you use and where did you get it from? What phone do you mostly use for texting and calling? Who runs your service provider?
Many keybords and mice come with extra dongles that aren't Bluetooth. You have a Bluetooth stick in your taskbar right next to the clock? Are there Bluetooth adapters in the Device Manager program? Maybe try setting up your mobile device manually on the PC instead.
