Hello guys, So, in Bosnia and Herzegovina we have 2 major ISP's, Telemach and MojaTV. I have had Telemach for 3 years now and I was wondering if I am allowed to switch my Cisco EPC3925 router for some else. Here is a problem... It's using a circular network cable which is coming from the wall and I don't know which router supports that cable, modem... thing?!!?! I am not sure if I am allowed to change the router since it's been really having problems so I will contact the ISP and ask if I am allowed.... Do you guys have any recommendations with that circular modem cable? Thanks guys. EDIT: Telemach is the leading ISP in my country and I have seen new routers at my friend' house.

This cable-modem is a DOCSIS 3.0 device. If you locate another model that supports the same standard, you can purchase it and then share its WAN port's MAC address with your ISP—the addresses are typically printed on a label at the modem’s base. Keep in mind, though, that it’s wise to contact your ISP first to confirm they permit this action, as many providers restrict users from modifying their equipment. You might also find a newer unit directly from your ISP.

Absolutely! Great work on that cable. Also, you'll want a router that includes a telephone cable since we still have those home phones around.

Join the network for free Wi-Fi, they offer affordable rates with decent connectivity. Avoid DOCSIS options.

This recommendation is solid. The numbers look promising. Virgin handles everything well. The speeds are decent, though I saw some fluctuations—like 90 down 18 up once. EE mobile performance seems strong overall.

I noticed Netgear offers some DOCSIS 3.0 routers. It's unclear if they're available in Europe, so you can search online for more details.

I believe my dad receives around £27 each month, though we joined the agreement in 2014 during a major revision. They updated the contract and dropped the TV since it wasn’t necessary anymore.
