In the admin interface of the main router, I found "IP range". I selected the first one and it appears to be a correct choice for portforwarding. I plan to test it and check if it functions properly.

Routers operating in bridge mode function similarly to switches for the connected cables. They do not forward any traffic when properly set up in bridge mode.
