Also consider an Acer Nitro. They produce quality monitors and it might be worth getting a second view. You're aiming for a $200 budget, so it's important to stay within that range.

It works well with flat and IPS panels measuring 27 inches. The IPS type often shows a characteristic glow on black screens, but the brightness isn't at full capacity. Acer Nitro performs adequately.
