Hey there! I saw you’ve got Call of Duty: WWII set up with solid specs. You’re aiming for 120 FPS, but you’re noticing big lag spikes. Let’s look at possible fixes. Check if your graphics card drivers are up to date, try lowering in-game settings, or see if a different GPU model works better. Also, ensure your system’s RAM and CPU are handling the workload—your 8GB DDR4 should be fine, but make sure it’s not overloaded. Let me know what you try!

Could be your system has only 8 GB of memory. Monitor performance throughout the game and pay attention when frame rates drop. On my setup with a 480 and 1600 resolution, I run at 120 fps using maximum settings.

I experienced the same problem where my game would freeze, using the same GPU with an FX 8350 and 8 GB of RAM. After upgrading to 16 GB of RAM and a CPU, the issue has resolved and the game runs smoothly. Good luck!

It might be related to the game itself. I've been playing for a few weeks now and have observed some problems lately. I'm using a 6700k, 1080ti with 32gb of RAM.

It seems like your friend and you have similar problems, with their PCs almost identical to yours.

It might be the CPU, but it seems like a high-end i7 7700K. Upgrading the RAM would definitely help.

It's not the CPU that's the issue—your setup is far beyond what's recommended for COD WW2. Your 6700k with 1440p and maxed settings still delivers smooth performance, often exceeding 60 fps. Any hiccups are likely due to insufficient RAM rather than your processor.

I’ve checked some recent info and the system needs at least 8GB of RAM (12GB is ideal). It seems this could be the memory requirement. I’ve seen several discussion threads online about similar problems. Many users who increased their RAM from 8GB to 16GB reported that all issues vanished.
