That is very weird, does your machine run other games ok?
What operating system are you running on? Have you checked that your graphics drivers are up to date? Also what screen / display settings are you using?
Final though- have you monitored your machine using something like HWMonitor when playing to check temps and so on? That game should fly on that setup.

The issue appears to be primarily with the optimization of Modern Warfare III on Windows 10, specifically relating to its graphical settings and performance within that particular title. The game exhibits a significant drop in frame rate – from approximately 30 frames per second during cinematic cutscenes to a consistently low 17 frames per second when gameplay resumes. This discrepancy is likely due to a combination of factors including the game's demanding graphical requirements, potential driver conflicts, and possibly limitations within the game’s engine itself. The user has already taken steps to address potential issues by updating graphics drivers and utilizing high-resolution settings (2560 x 1440 at 144Hz), suggesting that the problem isn't a fundamental hardware issue. Further investigation into the game's specific configuration files, compatibility modes, or potential software conflicts might be necessary to resolve this performance bottleneck.
