Call of Duty: Modern Warfare did not meet expectations.
Two days ago, I assembled a new PC with the following specifications: CPU: i5 9600kf, GPU: RTX 2060 6GB OC, Motherboard: Asus TUF Z390 Pro Gaming, RAM: HyperX 2x8GB 3200MHz, SSD: Sandisk 240GB, HDD: WD 1TB, PSU: Seasonic 650W Gold Core Series. I recently purchased Call of Duty MW with the GPU, but the graphics appear subpar despite using Ultra/High settings. Could this be related to my monitor – a Dell 1920x1080 at 60Hz?
I am also experiencing positive outcomes. Your equipment appears to be excellent. The results likely stem from your configurations. This marks my initial foray into a Call of Duty game, and it has been notably successful. It surpasses Battlefield V in numerous aspects at launch. A comparison to Battlefield V suggests a level of refinement approaching the final state of Battlefield V by March 2020.
Your display is not optimal. The game experience lacks refinement due to your monitor's refresh rate limitations. Utilizing a 60Hz monitor diminishes your system’s capabilities, preventing you from achieving consistently over 120 frames per game. This difference will be particularly noticeable in shooting games.
Edit: Verify your in-game settings for unintended alterations to resolution scaling that may have occurred unintentionally.
The game appears excellent on my system, particularly the campaign, at both 4K and 1440p resolutions.
I am also achieving positive outcomes. Your equipment appears to be impressive. The performance likely stems from your configurations. This marks my initial foray into a Call of Duty installment without disappointment. It surpasses Battlefield V (in many aspects) at launch. A comparison to Battlefield V suggests it is nearly as refined as Battlefield V will become by March 2020.
