Call of Duty: Modern Warfare appears blocky and outdated.
My computer is exhibiting noticeable blurring problems while playing the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on my personal computer. The video sequences, particularly in cinematic moments, appear dated and resemble graphics from an older PlayStation 2 console. This problem is exclusive to this specific game; all other applications perform flawlessly. I've already attempted troubleshooting steps, including updating my graphics drivers, completely removing and reinstalling them, and uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself. Below are some visual examples of the issue.
System specifications:
ASUS MPG X570 Gaming Plus
Ryzen 7 3700X Processor
64GB of DDR4 memory
AMD Radeon RX 5700 graphics card
Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 SSD
Sceptre Monitor

Is it possible to exchange HDMI or DisplayPort cables for replacements?
Typically, the application installs visual effects through individual records. Confirm that shaders installation hasn’t been interrupted. Following this, I suggest examining your game’s configuration options. While I can't list every setting, please verify the display resolution and scaling are set to your monitor’s native size and 100% respectively. Furthermore, AMD has implemented Image Enhancing technology with their recent Adrenalin 2020 drivers. This feature is often activated by default at 80% for gaming, and it’s causing problems for me as well. Please disable this option within the general settings and report on your experience.
Following the release of Season 2, numerous players – including myself – have experienced performance issues like decreased visuals and delays. My average frame rate plummeted from approximately 120 frames per second to the low 90s, as indicated by the game’s internal counter. The visual representation appears to be considerably lower, around 20 frames per second. This is significantly disappointing. Previously, I was very pleased with the Call of Duty experience. I anticipate a resolution to these problems in the near future.
The shaders have been completely implemented, and the in-game options are configured correctly. Image enhancement is turned off, preventing the game from being unplayable; however, it appears to be running at approximately 30 frames per second, despite reporting an average of 246 FPS.
