Good evening. Your setup involves a dual monitor configuration with different display types and a specific motherboard setup. It seems you're trying to route your secondary HDMI monitor through an Active Type-C adapter, but it's not utilizing your main GPU (RTX 4070) as expected. The issue might stem from how the motherboard interprets the input source or the driver configuration for Thunderbolt 4. You should verify that your graphics drivers are properly set to use the dedicated GPU and check if the active type-C adapter is correctly recognized. It could also be a matter of ensuring the correct power delivery and cable connections for stable performance.

Have you considered solving this puzzle? I’m thinking about buying the Asus ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI ATX AM5 board with a DisplayPort IN cable. Could it be a simple oversight? Did you link the GPU via the supplied DisplayPort cable correctly? Is your active type c cable plugged into the right USB-C slot on the motherboard?
