You can keep the cache size similar to your current setup, but adjust it slightly lower if you aim for 4.7 atm. It’s generally safe to cache a bit less than before unless you notice performance drops.

I struggle with RAM overclocking. I noticed negative gaming outcomes when I tweaked just frequency and let the motherboard set timings. It might not be about the timings at all, or maybe it wasn't very stable. Not sure. Others have changed other parts and saw better results, so it's unclear. I also found some uncore that could help generally, though minimally.

My main was giving me 498 is r20 single core and 4.7 is getting me 520, so it works fine for me. I’ll go with it, haha.
