I’m starting to get a new desk, and part of the wife’s condition is to tidy up the area with cables. Not too much of a problem for me. The other issue is that our Roomba tends to pick up one of the cables almost every night. I’m quite an IT enthusiast, dealing with routers, switches, APs, multiple SoCs (like Raspberry Pi), and tools such as PiHole and Elk, so there’s a lot of plugging in.
I have two nice power strips that provide enough outlets for my setup, but they’re longer than usual—about 15 inches. I’m looking for boxes that can accommodate up to 15 inches, ideally 16 inches, preferably black rather than bright colors like red.
