I updated the BIOS on my motherboard this morning and the problem with my memory speed was resolved. Now the Ethernet port displays "cable unplugged" even when a cable is connected, and the LEDs don’t light up. I’ve tried various fixes—updating drivers, adjusting settings, running a DNS flush, rebooting with Ethernet off, changing cables, and even reinstalling Windows—but nothing worked. I’m considering an RMA, but I’d rather avoid disassembling the PC or hiring someone to fix it for me. I really hope there’s another solution I haven’t thought of. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Have you attempted a Clear CMOS reset to check for issues? It seems like the only other option with a reasonable chance of resolving the problem is that.

I might revert to a previous BIOS version to check functionality, and then initiate a return for replacement.
