It's unusual. I've been using it for years, upgraded from 7 to 10, and applied the November update on 10 without any problems.

I transfer my primary user profile folders over the years. This applies not just to personal systems but also in enterprise environments needing roaming profiles or profile redirection—especially vital for virtual desktop setups. I don’t trust any part of this claim, and certainly not anyone else.

You tried the right-click menu for Users, but the location tab wasn’t visible. Could you check if there’s another option or settings where that tab appears?

Adjust the subfolders rather than relocating the entire user folder. Organize items like (Document, Music, Downloads, etc.) by right-clicking, selecting Properties, and choosing the Location tab. This approach aligns with Microsoft developer guidelines. Deviating from this—such as changing the drive letter—can cause significant compatibility issues with software and the operating system. If it functions well for you, feel free to use it without concerns.

Good, don't. You are not the first, and won't be the last to have problems, and face a re-install, and need another PC to plug the HDD/SSD in and backup all your stuff, and all that headache.
